In addition to the fabulous job my mom is doing making these bridesmaid dresses from scratch, I am adding a few details of my own. It was determined that we needed to add something at the waist to highlight the girls’ lovely waistlines. So, a trip to the fabric store and a lot of furious crocheting later, I made each girl a unique belty thing!
They will each also have a borrowed amber cameo pin from my late Grandma Linda’s estate. I will be wearing one on my dress, too, albeit in black. I won’t put up a picture, since Andrew might see it!
Anyway, I just thought I would point out one of the many little details that might be missed if you didn’t know about them. More to come as I think of them, perhaps.
